Wheelchair drunk crahes into police

A 65-year-old Australian has been charged with drunk-driving after crashing his motorised wheelchair into a police car in the Queensland city of Cairns.

He was allegedly almost five times over the legal blood-alcohol driving limit when he hit the patrol car after driving through a red light.

Both vehicles were damaged but there were no injuries.
