Golf 1.4 TSI wins car of the year

The South African Guild of Motoring Journalists (SAGMJ) has pointed to the VW Golf 1.4 TSI as South Africa’s 2010 Car of the Year (COTY) at a gala banquet at Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand, on Thursday.

VW says it's growing

Mercedes shows new AMG engine

Mercedes-Benz's AMG division has announced that a completely new AMG 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine with up to 420 kW and 900 Nm will enter the lineup mid-year. The engine is at the Geneva Motor Show in a new version of the Mercedes S 63 AMG.
