Most powerful Volvo yet

Volvo and tuning company Heico Sportiv have developed a high performance version of its V70 station wagon - but unfortunately it's exclusively for the German market.

The turbocharged six cylinder V70 T6 AWD will have 239 kW at its disposal, making it Volvo's most powerful road car yet. Limited to just 100 vehicles, it will cost the equivalent of R655 000 and will only be available in metallic sapphire black.

Thanks to this technical upgrade customers benefit from a perceptible performance improvement with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of 250 km/h (electronically capped).

Average fuel consumption is claimed at 10.6 litres/100 km. The high-performance station wagon is fitted with permanent all-wheel drive and a six-gear automatic Geartronic gearbox.

The exclusive interior fittings include, sport leather upholstery in anthracite with inlaid quartz-beige contours, R-Design aluminium inlays, the multifunctional leather sport steering wheel, sport pedals and blue-background instruments.
