FF Plus says Malema's speeches are linked to farm murders

The Freedom Front Plus says three farm murders over the weekend is related to an atmosphere created by speeches like the one delivered by Julius Malema last week at the University of Johannesburg.

“The murders follow directly after the singing of “Kill the boer, kill the farmer” by Julius Malema at the University of Johannesburg.

“No complex thought process is needed to see that this is creating an atmosphere favourable to farm killings,” says Anton Alberts, a Freedom Front Plus spokesman. “As an influential youth leader he is creating circumstances where reckless ideas and actions prevail. In this context, he has a hand in the killing of farmers in South Africa.

The party says they will prepare a report on farm murders in South Africa, which they plan to hand to the UN and they are considering laying charges at the International Criminal Court.

“The Freedom Front Plus sees the deeds of Malema, and the ANC distancing themselves from these deeds, as a serious matter.

“Farmers will have to organise and arm themselves to protect the community,” Alberts says.
