Warriors sets a decent total

The Warriors took advantage of winning the toss and playing before their home crowd to put up 186 for two in their innings for the South Africa provincial T20 final.

Jacques Kallis opened the batting with Ashwell Prince and the two Proteas scored 169 for the first wicket at St George's Park.

Kallis scored 55 off 79 balls and Prince made 69 off 69 before he was out.

The pick of the bowlers was without doubt Robert Frylinck, who gave away only 14 runs in his four overs. He also got the wicket of the dangerous Kallis.

Mark Boucher, who has been the thorn in the side of many an international bowling attack, smashed four sixes off the last over to put a lot of pressure on the Lions batsman. Boucher made 27 off eight balls to get the home side to more than nine runs an over.

The Warriors bowling attack is one of the strongest in the competition and they will feel confident that they can deny the Johannesburg side some silverware in the competition.
