Kallis falls for 173

big_imageJacques Kallis nicked a ball from Harbhajan Singh after adding only 14 runs to his overnight score and was out caught at short leg this morning.

South Africa is still in a commanding position at 358 for three on the second morning of the first Test against India in Nagpur, but the ball seems to be turning more than yesterday.

At the crease are Hashim Amla, who has 161 not out, and AB de Villiers who has moved on to five.

South Africa elected to bat yesterday and was in trouble early on when Zaheer Kahn took two wickets before the visitors reached double figures, but Kallis and Amla added 340 runs for the third wicket.

There still seems to be little help for the faster bowlers this morning and South Africa, with their limited slow-bowling attack, might have a problem putting Indian batsmen like Sachin Tendulkar under pressure.
