One of the world's most way-out cars, the F1-styled KTM X-Bow, is coming to SA next month - and this no-frills sports car is yours for just under R1-million.
The KTM X-Bow is in its third year of production and around 500 cars have been sold world-wide, and here it will be imported and distributed by X-Bow SA, an entity completely separate from the local KTM motorcycle distributor in South Africa.
X-Bow SA will offer the X-Bow as a fully homologated right hand drive road-legal package ready to take on any mountain pass, track day or race track. At present the X-Bow Street and Clubsport are the only models planned for the South African market, but plans for importing different versions are in the pipeline - the main difference between the various models being mainly adjustable suspension.
Pricing will be determined as soon as the first units arrive in South Afica. The base X-Bow is expected to retail at around R995 000 (including VAT and import duties, but excluding any optional extras).
