Gauteng will have another hot day on Saturday, but from Sunday the weather is expected to turn and rain is expected every day next week.
On Sunday, temperatures will drop to around 25 degrees, and the weatherman is predicting a 30% chance of thundershowers.
That trend will continue for the rest of the week, with a better chance (of 60%) of rain on Wednesday and Thursday.
The rainy weather strikes KwaZulu-Natal tomorrow and it will rain in Durban until at least Thursday, the South African Weather Service says.
Some cooler weather is expected in Cape Town after this week’s stifling heat, but no rain is expected in the Western Cape for the next seven days.
