Small chance of rain early in the week

The South African weather office predicts a 30% chance of rain tomorrow and today in Johannesburg, with temperatures expected to drop to a maximum of 10% on Tuesday.

It will be cold until Saturday at least, with minimum temperatures expected at 3°C.

A cold front is approaching the Western Cape and Cape Town should see some rain from Wednesday. The front should hit the Mother City in force on Thursday and more rain is expected over the weekend.

Durban could also see some precipitation today and tomorrow, but the rest of the week and the weekend should be clear.

Some rain is expected in the central parts of South Africa as well, but clear, cold conditions should dominate the rest of the week. It will be -2°C in Kimberley tomorrow morning. On Friday temperatures could drop to -4°.
