The All Blacks will have only two of the backs that lost to Australia in the tri-nations in the starting 15 against Tonga for the first clash of the 2011 Rugby World Cup tomorrow morning.
New Zealand coach, Graham Henry, made nine changes to his side and retained only Dan Carter and Ma’a Nonu in the backline. Nonu moves to outside centre, however, to make way for Sonny Bill Williams on the inside.
While Tonga is not expected to worry the world’s number one side too much, Tonga coach Isitolo Maka has said that there is little pressure on his side. He expects a surprise tomorrow in Auckland’s Eden Park. The opening match starts at 10:30 South African time.
South Africa play their first match against Wales on Sunday at 10:30 in Wellington.
